"Hi all,
I've booked my house's bbq pit on the 15th of June, as Mr Koh cannot book cheap places for us to stay.
It's from night and the noob GP class would be having lesson so you all can come over and chill at my cool room after lesson in the afternoon first.
Anyway, as I would be away from 1st to 10th, you all would need details.
Address: The Quartz Condominium, 57 Compassvale Bow. S544987.
How to get there: Go purple line by train, and take to BUANGKOK station, turn right after coming out of the mrt, go up elevator and walk straight in the direction and soon you'll reach.
Thing is, I need danette wangchi and licheng to coordinate the food, we'll have bbq pit. Just need to buy all the stuff lurh okay? My house here got sell all the BBQ equipment and there's NTUC too so I think all we'll need is the raw food and drinks.
If you guys want, you can come earlier to swim or whatever too.
Layting collect class fund and Danette you all just coordinate lurh k?
If you all don't want I can still cancel the booking, anyway the booking is 15 bucks. yeah.

OKAY EVERYONE, READ THIS.

the check-in time is 2.30, so everyone lets meet at 1.30 at bedok mrt. From there, we can take a straight bus 401 to the chalet. Lunch please go settle yrself, else u could meet up with one another if u wanna have lunch together. After the check-in, than we could do wadeva we want. Glenn gonna bring soccer ball and volleyball, frisbee people bring frisbee. Till at night, we not going to have bbq, cos bbq is hot and messy and expensive. So everyone BRING MONEY, than we can have dinner else where. But before that, everyone buy snacks and drinks for yourself, in case of raining, than we are stuck in the small chalet... Btw another plan is to order pizza or something, we'll discuss when we reach. After that, those who wanna go home can go home and those who wanna stayover can do so. For those staying over, please bring wadeva games u can find, CHESS,CARDS,BOARD GAMES. Lets not sleep,if not waste 138 dollars. The television is also pathetically small, so no point bringing dvds. YUp, if you have any more idea please sms me.

PW Public Speaking Workshop:

Our class's allocated date is 18 July 2009. We're having the workshop witih 09s79, 09s61, 09s7a. Timing is around 8am to 1pm.

Since the entire group is supposed to be there together, you will need to change dates together with your whole group if you can't make it on that day. (:

When you come for the workshop, come with the material that you have already gathered for your PW. Have some slides ready, and be ready to present your work to the trainers that are coming in.

GPP Final submission is on 11 May, we will be getting back the first draft tomorrow.

Dear students
On 30 Apr 2009, Ministry of Health had raised the pandemic alert
level to Orange. With effect from Monday (04 May 09), schools
will heighten health measures.

Please study the instructions carefully as they will
impact you once you step into school on Monday. Do inform your parents
accordingly, especially if they are fetching you to school or picking you
up from school.

1. Separate Flag-Raising Ceremony on Monday (4 May
09)
The High School and College Sections will have their own Flag-
raising ceremony on Monday (4 May) so that the reinforcement of the
instructions can be targeted to a more specific audience.

2. Measure your Temperature BEFORE coming to
school
All staff/students must measure their own temperature before coming
to school. The new trigger point: 38.1C So, if your
temperature is AT or More Than 38.1C, you are NOT to report to
school. If you are sick, you must not come to school even if your
temperature is < 38.1C

If you were in affected countries with confirmed swine
flu cases (US, Mexico, S Korea or HK) during the past 7 days
, please self-quarantine yourself at home till 7 days have passed.

3. Restricted Disembarkation Areas for those who
come to school by cars or minibuses. (refer to attached map)

Gate 1: College gate along Duchess Road
Gate 2: Right hand side of Clock Tower, facing Bukit Timah Road
Gate 3: Left hand side of Clock Tower, facing Bukit Timah Road
Gate 4: Between SALT Ctr and Tennis Courts, facing Namly Avenue
Gate 5: Junction of HCIS and HCIBS

High School
For those who are driven into HCI (High School) via Gate 3 and 4,
you are to alight from your vehicle either
• at the Gantry of Tan Kah Kee Drive (if your parents are to
drive on towards Gate 2); or
• at the Open Carpark that is next to Block D

All students, ‘walk in’ or driven, will be directed to Block D and
multi-storey car park for Visual Screening Checks.

Students CANNOT alight along Tan Kah Kee Drive
nor the side road leading to HCIS/Gate 5. These roads are designated
NO-STOPPING ZONES.

(In other words, even if your brothers and/or sisters are students
at College, they will need to alight at the Gantry and walk over to
College via Block D after the visual screening checks)

College
In the case of those who are driven into HCI (College Section) via
the Slip-road gate or Gate 1, you are to alight at Block D or the
College Open car park.

All students, ‘walk in’ or driven, will be directed to the College
Canteen for Visual Screening Checks.

Exception:
• Those who walk into HCI via Gate 2 will be visually screened
by the security guards at the gate.
• Students from HCIBS will be visually checked by HCIBS staff
before they enter school by Gate 5.

4. Temperature Taking Exercise will be conducted
EVERYDAY.
As temperature taking execise is conducted everyday, every student
must carry with him/her an oral digital thermometer (ODT). You can
purchase an ODT at any of the school bookstores if they still have
stocks.

All temperature measurements will be carried out in classrooms. HS
CSE students and College students will be informed about their
locations for the temperature taking exercise.

5. Closure of Gate 2 (from 0745h onwards), 3 & 5 from
0830h onwards
After the morning peak period of arrival of students and staff, the
school will close Gates 2, 3 and 5.

All visitors, including parents will have to be screened and their
temperature measured by the security guards at Gates 1 and 4.

These are the measures for the Orange Alert. If we move into Red
Alert, the measures will even be more drastic. I appeal to your
cooperation and patience even if these measures cause you or your
parents any form of inconvenience.

HELLO FIONA HERE PLEASE REMEMBER TO DO THE CHEM ISP TEST!
And just to remind you all that there's a public-speaking workshop thingy for PW and I don't really want to pass around a class list unless absolutely necessary, so everyone please tell me if you are going or not. Like tell me if it's YES/NO, so I can keep track of who hasn't gotten back to me yet.

Oh and please choose between the month of May or August. I'm not sure if it's just like ONE day of workshop, or a few sessions in each month so I'll ask Mr Lim but in the meantime just let me know May/August okay.

Oh ya and a reminder: PI final submission is due next Thurs, 23 April hor. Work on your Group Project Proposal also.

2. please bring your group summaries + word list and pass them to me by thursday so i can photocopy them for the whole class

Hey! this msg is for those who need to do GP homework (in ilovegp programme or language 10 and below).
You should all have gotten the new set of gp homework which consists of 4 parts, which has to be done by T2W2.

Those in ilovegp programme pls rmb to memorise your spelling and definitions(the chicken little set) by T2W3 where there will be a test. Try to do essay plans for essay qns on singapore although deadline is not set yet.

Last of all everyone do rmb to summarise your articles!
I will be dreading all these work as much as u all are...=)

Hmm...i'm actually posting this coz tenille brought up the 2 issues and asked me to fulfill my responsibility...

1) CT Outing...
I'm not sure if u all would like to have a CT outing...and what u all actually want to do as a class...
So...if u're free and want to go...plz kindly indicate on the tagboard, state when u're free and suggest an activity that the entire class will enjoy together =)

2) Changing the blogskin??
I believe u all would agree that 09s61 has a nice blogskin....nicely photoshop-ed with an attention-catching gif image...
Perhaps someone/ a few of u with photoshop skills and/or a creative idea should volunteer yourselves to give our classblog a new appearance (I'm not suggesting that our current blogskin is bad, but it will be good to come up with a 'back-up' skin)

Also...play hard but don't forget to do ur tutorials...those of u who feel that u're lagging behind should aim to catch up with the pace of the class/lectures...Enjoy the holiday!

Lol. i know this is abit late, but late is always better than never.

1) Econs Qns ( could someone kindly tell us the qns?)
2) Chemistry Redox Tutorial
3) Study for Maths Test Tmr! Good Luck People! (:
4) Do Maths tutorial 2B if you are really that hardworking. I'm not doing i guess.
5) RMB DO YOUR PHYSICS ONLINE TEST! there is one qns in post test that you cannot choose any option, dun worry, that is a give away mark.
6) PW?! need to present something i guess.

Ooooya, since i am posting, for the chemistry tutorial last qns right, (highlight the back for help) try to form two eqn so that you can solve them simultaneously. Let mass of Fe2O3=x and Fe3O4=y

Ooo and one last thing, we will be going back to the unit we have helped in the painting of the kitchen on 28th march saturday, 9-12 . We will have to think of what else we can do to improve the life of the resident. Please think about it and tell me by tmr k? I heard the toilet's window is broken or something? is it? we have 100$ to spend on, of which 30$ can be used to buy food. We can contribute our own money of course! :D

In fact my character is the only one of the 3 who even in the play never made it to kissing Justin! The first time, the kiss was interupted by Angel entering the scene; the second time, it was interupted with me spilling the 'tea' on his crotch!
Meanwhile, Gretal and Patricia's characters really were supposed to kiss Justin! But the detective person stopped them. So, yup.
