IMPORTANT! Regarding the Public Speaking Workshop for PW:
Dear C1 students,
Some of you have questions with regard to the Public Speaking
Workshop and the instructions issued on Friday. As a class, please choose 3 dates that you would like to attend the workshop. Take note that you will not necessarily be allocated your choice of dates as it is subject to the demand and basically your luck.The dates available are:
May: 2nd, 16th, 23rd, 30th
July: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
August: 1st, 15th, 22nd, 29th.
Please submit the class list to your STs by Wednesday, 22nd April 2009.
At the same time, for those of you who are unable to join your classes, please indicate next to your name the dates you would prefer. As much as possible we will accomodate your requests and group you with your friends.

okay so I think I'll be passing around a class list for you all to choose the dates. Please note that if you don't want to attend the workshops for whatever reasons the ST has to approve of it before you can actually be excused from them.
I think Mr Lim will be back on Wednesday. In the meantime, go work on your PIs! Submission is on Thursday!!

PW Public Speaking workshop:HELLO FIONA HERE
PLEASE REMEMBER TO DO THE CHEM ISP TEST!
And just to remind you all that there's a public-speaking workshop thingy for PW and I don't really want to pass around a class list unless absolutely necessary, so everyone please tell me
if you are going or not. Like tell me if it's YES/NO, so I can keep track of who hasn't gotten back to me yet.
Oh and please choose between the month of
May or August. I'm not sure if it's just like ONE day of workshop, or a few sessions in each month so I'll ask Mr Lim but in the meantime just let me know May/August okay.
Oh ya and a reminder:
PI final submission is due next Thurs, 23 April hor. Work on your Group Project Proposal also.

hello everyone, danette here (: its the first time in very very long since i posted on a blog! haha oh congrats to weeteck on getting into council! (: kay got stuff from mrs pow to tell you all :\ got tired of forgetting to tell everyone when the whole class is around
for GP:
1. GP CA test 2 (paper 2 compre) is NEXT TUESDAY, 14 APRIL
2. please bring your group summaries + word list and pass them to me by thursday so i can photocopy them for the whole class
general stuff:
1. this thursday's (9 april) timetable will remain the same. its next thursays (16 april) that will take friday's timetable
2. bring your graphic/scientific calucators to be approved next monday. each person can bring a max of 2 calculators

Hoho...let's thank fiona for the update on hw and those reminders =)
*Cough cough*...kevin, wangchi and me are selling tickets for dancenight 2009! There will be 3 shows (one on 22nd May in the night, the other 2 on 23rd May afternoon and night)...Each ticket costs 6 dollars...support us la hor =) Remember to approach us if u're interested in coming for the annual event! We'll be more than happy!
Hmm another thing missing from the homework column is the Physics assignment and practical due next week...jiayou!~
P.S. Plz dont be surprised if the 3 of us approach any of u from now till end of May to borrow homework and copy okay?

hi! fiona here again. (: nobody is updating! anyway, i updated the homework column (right side there) but i'm not sure if i wrote all the homework, so if you realise there's more then you all just edit (EH I thought layting supposed to update the list?! haaha) ...
ok ya paiseh but all those who took the PW notes please pay me 85 cents each!! so far only kiaguan, anrui, melvin, jiaming, jiajie, sheila and wangchi paid me! jiayou for PI, it's due on monday (april6) if you've forgotten! oh yeah and our class doesn't have the small NLB Resources booklet yet because they ran out of it during the PW lecture, so don't worry, mr lim will get them for us soon.
oh remember to do the latest chem ISP test... deadline is april 5, 11.59pm. and jiayou for econs essay test!!!!
